Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) was established under the Ministry of Culture. The main objective of this premier organization is to protect the cultural heritage of the nation. ASI also regulated the Antiquities and Art Treasure Act which came into existence in the year 1972.
Job profile:
Candidates will have to perform the regular job of a foreman in the Archaelogical department.
Eligibility:
Candidates should between 18 to 25 years of age.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent.
No. of posts: There are 30 posts in total are available for the Foreman designations.
Pay scale: Selected candidates will be given the salary of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination. Candidate’s performance in the examination will play a major part in the final selection for the posts.
