Profile:

National Physical Laboratory (NPL) was established in the year 1947. It is one of the oldest laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrail Research. It is considered as the premier research laboratory in the country in the field of physical sciences. The major function of the laboratory is to perform the important works like research, development, calibration etc. NPL is best known for its work in the apex level calibration.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Project Assistant Level III in National Physical laboratory which requires Physicists, Chemists and Engineers for the posts.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have degree from any recognized institute or university for applying for the posts of Project Assistant Level III.

Posts Available: Total 19 posts are available in National Physical Laboratory.

Pay Scale:

Project Assistant (Physicists): Rs.16000/- will be paid as the consolidated salary.
Project Assistant (Chemists): Rs.14000/- will be paid as the consolidated salary.
Project Assistant (Engineers): Rs.12000/- will be paid as the consolidated salary.

Selection process:

Walk-in-Interview that will be held on 5 February 2010 is the only criteria for the selection of the candidates for the above mentioned posts of Project Assistants level III as Chemists, Physicists and Engineers.

How to apply: Candidates should bring the required documents alongwith them at the time of the interview on February 5, 2010 between 8 AM to 9:30 AM. Reserved category candidates should bring the copies of the certificates in the proper format issued by the appropriate authority.
