Rajasthan Public Service Commission has adopted a new pattern for its examination for Rajasthan Administrative Services. The exam comprises of two parts such as Prelims and Mains. Both parts contain objective type questions. Questions will be asked from topics such as General Science & Mental Ability, Mental Ability and General Knowledge etc. Candidates have to prepare well as per the prescribed syllabus for the examination.

Exam Pattern of Prelims Exam

There will be only one paper in the Prelims Exam. Questions will be asked from topics such as General Science & Mental Ability and General Knowledge with special focus on India and Rajasthan. Of these more than 20 % of the questions will be based on the history, arts and culture of Rajasthan. The maximum mark allotted to this section is 200. Questions will be in objective type multiple choice formats. Those who have cleared the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the Mains Exam

Exam Pattern of Main Exam

Rajasthan Administrative Services Mains Exam will have objective type questions. The exam comprises of four sections. Each section carries questions for 200 marks. Of these, three papers will have questions on General Science, General Aptitude and General Knowledge. Fourth paper contains questions from Hindi, Rajasthani and English Language. Of these, there will be questions for 100 marks from Hindi, 20 marks from Rajasthani and 40 marks from English.
