Qualifying Exam
To become an Agricultural Engineer, an individual should have completed his B.Tech or M.Tech in agriculture. The graduation programme is of four-year duration. There are various Universities and institutes offering the course. They can select out of merit or management seats of admissions for doing the course.
Who is eligible to apply?
Aspirants who have passed the intermediate exam from science stream with PCM can apply for the graduation programme. The students need to clear an entrance test prior to admission. AIEEE and JEE are two main entrance tests carried out for getting admissions in the leading institutes in India. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research also carries out a similar test for permitting the aspirants for studies in ICAR. There are also many other State level, National level or University level test that are carried for admitting aspirants in the respective areas.

Candidates need to have detailed knowledge in the qualifying exam. The entrance exam will be of objective type. The applicants can purchase entrance exam special books from leading bookstores that may contain extra questions. The aspirants should gain speed and do more practices on the topic.
