Ambulance Paramedic, Ambulance Driver, Centralised Accident & Trauma Services
Centralised Accident & Trauma Services is a plan scheme which was first implemented under the aegis of All India Institute of medical Science. The ambulance service was transferred to the Delhi Fire Service in the year 1988. CATS was established with the major objective of reaching to site of the accident as quickly as possible. The aim of CATS is to save lives and mitigate human suffering. CATS has its Central COntrol Room located or situated at Deen Dayal Upadhya Hospital, Hari Nagar. The function of the control room is to direct the ambulance through wireless to move to the accident site.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited in the prescribed format for filling up the vacant positions of Ambulance Paramedic and Ambulance Driver in Centralised Accident & Trauma Services. Only eligible Indian Citizens are invited to apply for specified positions. Candidates will be recruited purely on contract basis under NRHM scheme initially for a period of 89 days only. However, number of posts may vary as per the actual requirement of Centralised Accident & Trauma Services at the time of making recruitment.
Eligibility:
The age criteria is strictly need to be followed by the candidates interested in applying for the any of the two specified posts i.e. Ambulance Paramedic or Ambulance Driver in Centralised Accident & Trauma Services. Candidates must have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit set for their desired position.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification for being eligible for applying for the above specified positions in Centralised Accident & Trauma Services. In case, candidates are having qualification less than prescribed minimum educational qualification, they should not apply for any of the two specified positions. Pay Scale:
Ambulance Paramedic: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000 per month.
Ambulance Driver: Consolidated salary of Rs. 11000 per month.
Application Fee:
General and OBC candidates should pay the application fee of Rs. 20 only. However, no application fee is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. The application fee must be paid in the form of a Postal Order or Demand Draft or Pay Order. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Centralised Accident & Trauma Services, Delhi.
How to apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format only. Completely filled in application form should be accompanied by the copies of certificates or testimonials in an envelope. The envelope should reach to the following address on or before the last date.
