Annamalai University can be described as a composition of teaching and residential university. The University was established in the year 1929 by Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar. The admission to the university’s engineering courses will be based on the entrance exam score. Question Pattern of Annamalai University Engineering Entrance Exam

The exam consists of 120 objective type questions that have to be completed within 120 minutes. Out of the four options, the candidate has to mark the right one in the OMR sheet provided for which he will be awarded with 1 mark and also one mark will be reduced for each wrong response. The questions of the entrance exam mainly cover the syllabus the candidate has studied in their Higher Secondary Classes. There will be questions from the core subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The question paper will consist of a total of 40 questions from each paper carrying 40 marks each.
