Ashok Leyland Placement Papers
Ashok Leyland is a renowned vehicle manufacturing company of India. The company was founded in the year 1948 and it manufactures commercial vehicles like buses and trucks and also emergency and defense vehicles.
The company also deals with the manufacturing of engines for generators and marine equipments. Ashok Leyland plans to set up one used truck trading firm and other plans include setting up a fleet management company. One of the company’s biggest investors is Hinduja Group.
The company hires efficient engineers for running its operations smoothly. The recruitment process of the company is given below:
The selection process consists of a written test and an interview.
The written test consists of three sections. There can be 30 or 50 questions in each of the sections. The questions are all objective types with either 4 or 5 choices
Section 1 is the basic math section. The duration is 30 minutes.
Section 2 is the general engineering and basic mechanical section. It is of duration 40 minutes.
Section 3 is the reasoning section. The time allotted is 30 minutes. Time management is an important aspect of the written test.
The written test is followed by an interview. It is a technical cum HR interview.
