Job Profile:

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for recruitment on the positions of Assistant Manager Rural Development in Syndicate Bank. The recruitment of the candidates will be made strictly on regular basis in the Syndicate Bank. Assistant Manager Rural Development is not identified for PWD candidates. So, there is no post reserved for them.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post is 21 years as on 1 January 2011.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 30 years as on 1 January 2011.

Relaxation of 5 years in age is available for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and relaxation of 3 years in age is available for the candidates belonging to OBC category.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done Graduation with atleast 55% marks in aggregate in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Agriculture Engineering/Fishery Science/Pisciculture/Agriculture Marketing and Co-operation from aby recognized university. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories are required to have atleast 50% marks in their Graduation.

For Gen Category Candidates: 380 posts are available.
For SC Category Candidates: 112 posts are available.
For ST Category Candidates: 56 posts are available.
For OBC Category Candidates: 202 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the amount of Rs. 14000-25700 per month as salary i.e. consolidated salary of Rs. 21199 per month.

Application Fee:

Rs. 300 is to be paid as application fee by the General and OBC category candidates. Rs. 50 is to be paid by the SC/ST category candidate. The requisite application fee is to be paid in cash in any branch of Syndicate Bank by the means of a payment challan that can be downloaded from bank’s website. No other means of fee submission such as Demand Draft, Money Order, Postal Orders etc will be accepted.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the post of Assistant Manager Rural Development in Syndicate Bank is consist of two stages:
1. First stage comprises of a written test that will be held on 15 May 2011.
2. Second stage comprises of a personal interview test.

Fee payment challan and the call letter will have to be submitted at the time of written test.
