Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli is a publice business school which is also one of the seven Indian Institutes of Management that are being setup by the Government of India under their Eleventh Five Year Plan. The institute was inaugurated recently on 4 January 2011 at Tamilnadu. The institute is going to offer various short term executive programmes and post graduate programmes to the students. Mr. M. Damodaran is the Chairman of the institute while Professor Prafulla Y. Agnihotri has been appointed as the current Director of the institute. An area of 200 acres have been alloted for the campus of the institute.

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli invites applications for faculty positions (Professor/Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) in the various discplines of Economics, Human Resource Management & Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Management, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing and Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques.

Eligibility:

Age of interested candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit in any case. Also the candidates should have acquired atleast the minimum age set for the posts. Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualificatiosn for all the faculty positions is Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate branch with first class in the preceeding degree. Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching or research is required for the post of Professor, Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching or research is required for the posts of Associate Professor and minimum experience of 3 years in teaching and research is required for the post of Assistant Professor.
