The University of Delhi offers the course of M.SC in the subject of Environmental Biology. There are a total of eight papers in the first year of the course, and the names of each of them are:

Semester 1

•    EVB101 Earth Systems
•    EVB 102 Environmental Chemistry & Climate
•    EVB 103 Cell Biology & Genetics
•    EVB 104 Environmental Physiology

Semester 2

•    V. EVB 205 Behavioural Science & Adaptations
•    VI. EVB 206 Evolutionary Biology & Systematics
•    VII. EVB 207 Organismal & Population Ecology
•    VIII. EVB 208 Community Ecology

Each of the paper is divided into four important parts namely, Theory, Internal Assessment, Practical and Dissertation and carries a total of four hundred and fifty marks. Seventy, thirty, fifty and three hundred respectively are the marks of each of the sub-parts of each of the papers. Each of the parts of each of the papers is offered a particular credit based on which candidates are offered marks in the papers. Both short as well as long answer type’s questions are offered in the papers. Candidates are advised to go through the previous year’s questions papers in order to retain a feel of the pattern.
