Environmental Psychology is also a sub discipline in Psychology. The field mainly focuses in the study of interconnection between human beings with the physical environment. It involves the term physical surrounding broadly which includes social settings, information environments, natural surroundings, learning environments and built environments. Environmental psychologists are those professionals who observe about the human interactions with their physical environment. They use these observations to plan, design and implement in wide range of areas like public spaces, built surroundings and social settings. The environmental psychologists can find their employment in other areas like psychology, geography, social science and in some design fields like architecture, planning, etc. They have to work together with other professionals such as architects, designers or urban planners. The career opportunities in this area is widening due to commercial applications and research activities about the key interaction between individuals’ behavior with the physical environment.
