Centre for Development of Advanced Computing was incorporated in the year 1988 under the Government of India. The centre was established as a premier R&D organization of Department of Information Technology. The centre actually comes under the control of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. CDAC is a renowned centre which carries out R&D in the fields of Information Technology and Electronics. Initially, the centre was set up with the aim to build supercomputers in context of denail of import of supercomputers by USA.

Job Profile:

Interested as well as eligible candidates are invited to apply for the positions of Engineer (IT) in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. CDAC is actually looking for highly skilled and result oritented individuals for recruiting for its Software Implementation Group. Interested candidates should check all the eligibility conditions before applying for the specified post. Candidates will be recruited for a fixed term of 3 years which can be expanded as per the requirements of the centre.

Eligibility:

The maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years. Candidates should have age above the minimum age limit set for the post and also their age should not exceed the maximum age limit set for the post. In case, candidates are having age age less than the minimum age limit and more than maximum age limit, his/her candidature will get cancelled. This age criteria is need to be fulfilled by the candidates for applying on the specified post.

Educational Qualification:

B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics is required as the minimum educational qualification for applying for the post of Engineer in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. Candidates possessing M.Sc in Computer Science or M.Sc. in Electronics or MCA in Mathematics as their qualification, are also eligible to apply for the specified position of Engineer.

Candidates are also required to possess atleast one years of experience in Software Development/ Deployment in a reputed organization.

No. of posts: Total 12 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 16000-24000 per month. Additional benefits such as Medical facilities, Provident Fund etc will also be provided to the candidates as per the requirements of the centre.

Application Fee:

Candidates are not required to pay any kind of application fee for applying for the post of Engineer in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing.

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to appear for an online test on 13 May 2011 to 15 May 2011 at CDAC Noida. Candidates can choose the time of this online test accoriding to their comfort. Candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process on the basis of their performance in this online test. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be published on website on 16 May 2011. The personal interview test will be held on 17 May 2011 at CDAC Noida only.
