The NITTE University Post Graduate Entrance Test (NUPGET) is conducted for the admission of candidates to MD/MDS degree. NUPGET comprises of multiple choice questions of 200 numbers. Bangalore, New Delhi, Ernakulam, etc are some of the centers where the candidate can attend the test. Application form can be collected from the web site of NITTE University. Filled up application form along with other documents must be sent through speed post.

Eligibility Criteria for NUPGET

Applicant must be a citizen of India. Those applying for MD/MS must have completed MBBS degree from any of the institutes recognized by Medical Council of India. Applicants for MDS degree must have completed BDS degree from a college recognized by the Dental Council of India. They must have completed their rotatory internship programme. Age of the applicant must be less than 45 years.

Exam Pattern for NUPGET

Only multiple choice questions are asked for NUPGET. There will be 200 questions which should be answered within 3 hours.  Each correct answer is given one mark. The medium of the written test will be English. Questions for MD/MS are based on the following topics.

Application Process for NUPGET

The application fee for attending the test is Rs. 3000/-. It must be remitted in the form of Demand Draft, taken in favor of NITTE University, and must be payable at Mangalore. Application form can be collected from the web site of the University. Application form must be filled up with adequate details and must be sent to the address of the Registrar of NITTE University before last date. Photocopies of the mark sheets of the qualifying examination, DD, 2 passport size photographs, etc must be submitted along with the application form. Application form and other documents should be sent through speed post. The hall ticket or the test admission test for the entrance test will be sent to the address of the candidate through post.
