National Fisheries Development Board was established under the Government of India. The board comes under the Ministry of Agriculture. One of the main objective of the board is to bring the activities relating to the fisheries and aquaculture for focussed attention and professional management. The board apply modern tools of research and development for the optimization of production and productivity issues from fisheries. The bord aims to generate substantial employment and empower women in the fisheries sector.
Job Profile:
1. Recruitment of Executive Director:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should be on the post of Officers of Central Government or State Government. Candidates should be holding analogous posts on regular basis with atleast 5 years of regular service.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.
2. Recruitment of Senior Executive (Technical):
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should be on the post of Officers of Central Government or State Government. Candidates should be holding analogous posts on regular basis with atleast 5 years of regular service.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
3. Recruitment of Executive (Technical):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should be on the post of Officers of Central Government or State Government. Candidates should be holding analogous posts on regular basis with atleast 3 years of regular service.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Age Limit:
Maximum age for all the above posts shall not exceed 56 years. Candidates must have age less than 56 years in order to apply on the specified posts.
Selection Process:
Only possession of the required educational qualification and meeting all the eligibility criteria does not ensures the selection of candidates. Candidates will have to perform excellently in the interview. Board holds the right to cancel the selection of candidate if he is not found suitable for the post.
