Psychology is one of the hottest career options available for students, who want to take up a career in counseling and personality management. Human Resource Management also requires a good knowledge of Human Psychology, and various companies prefer graduates having a degree in Psychology. The fee structure of the course varies from university to university and from city to city all over India. Fee structures of some of the leading institutes are as follows:

University of Calcutta: The University of Calcutta charges a nominal fee for the course which is just Rs. 8,000 per annum, and the course extends for 3 years. University development fund and library fee are payable extra depending upon the college where the course is sought from.

Presidency College, Chennai: The presidency College is an autonomous university in Chennai, offering B. Sc in Psychology for just Rs. 2,000 per annum including library, and sports expenses. The total fee comes to around 10,000 for the whole course.

Amity University: A private University in Noida and Lucknow, offers B. Sc in Psychology for a semester fee of 38,500 INR, which is much more than the government colleges mentioned above. However the university offers, placements to the students opting for the course, and hence is a better option. Scholarships are also provided to students with merit, which is 25% for students scoring more than 85% in the 12th examination, and 50% for students scoring more than 90% in the 12th examination.

The Andhra University in Hyderabad charges around 10,000 INR per annum for the B. Sc psychology course, where the library fee and the university development fund and the sports fee are extra payable. Scholarships are also provided to students with merit which includes books and stationary expenses.
