Is it beneficial to opt for B.Arch after completion of diploma in Civil engineering?
Is it beneficial to opt for B.Arch after completion of diploma in Civil engineering? Can you please give me the details on this? What is the advantage and disadvantage of taking up B.Arch after completion of diploma? Will there be a bright future?

Yes, it is beneficial to study B.Arch course after completion of Diploma in Civil Engineering. Candidates with a pass in 3-year diploma in civil engineering recognized by state / central government with mathematics as a subject of study with an aggregate of not less than 50% are eligible to apply for the B.Arch course. All the applicants should clear the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture and should score not less than 80 out of 200 marks. Candidates after the course can work in state and central public works department, housing, and urban development, housing boards, consultancies, architectural firms, real estate companies, teaching institutions etc.
