My name is Prathyus from Hyderabad. I am studying Diploma in Metallurgy and in 2nd year now at JNGP college. The duration of my course is 3 and a 1/2 years and with 1 year training and we have know about Metallurgy in my duration of course. I would like to know that can I do B.Tech after my Diploma?

Definitely you can go for the B.Tech after completion of your diploma course. For your kind information i want to tell you that you will get direct admission in second year of your bachelor degree if you go through the Lateral Entry Entrance Test. You simply have to apply for the LEET exam and prepare with full efforts. After getting score card yu have to participate in the online counselling. Fill reputed colleges on preference in "choice filling". After that you will get college on the basis of your rank scored in LEET.

Yes, you can study B.Tech after completion of Diploma in Metallurgy course. The eligibility to study the course in Lovely Professional University is a pass in 3 year diploma after 10th with 60% marks. The aspirant has to appear for entrance examination for the admission to the 2nd year of the B.Tech course through lateral entry. You can check the details in the website given ;

Yes,you can do your Engineering after completing your Diploma.But,there are very few colleges in Hyderabad and surroundings for Metallurgy course in Engineering.After completing your diploma course for 3 and 1/2 years.You will get a 6 months gap.But you can get into admission only after completing the 6 months gap.Its better to apply for Engineering in Metallurgy to various colleges and universities.It is suggestible to apply for Engineering out of the state and preferring the universities like Manipal and others out of the state.
