Hello Everyone,
I have completed my 12th with 47% and Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 65%. Please tell me that I can appear in JEE Main or not? Please reply as soon as possible. Waiting for your reply.

To be eligible to appear in JEE Main examination, the candidate must have completed 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognised board. Candidates who have are going to appear in 12th standard 2016 final examinations or those who have completed 12th standard in 2014 or 2015 are only eligible to appear in JEE Main 2016 examination. So, if you have completed your 12th standard in 2014 or 2015, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2016 examination.

Yes,you can apply for admission in IIT by writing the JEE mains.Diploma course is not considered as educational qualification for appearing for the examination.Your +2 is considered as qualification to get into IIT.

The important thing that is to be taken into consideration is,you should complete your +2 only in MPC(Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry).Students who complete their +2 in any other course are not considered to apply for the examinaition.
