If I do diploma through lateral entry of HSBTE after 10+2 PCM and after diploma can I take admission into B.Tech in 2nd year.

Yes, definitely you get admission in B.Tech 2nd year through Lateral entry of HSBTE. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma course or two years ITI course and Diploma course from any recognised board are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course. To get Lateral Entry admission in B.Tech course, you must have to appear in Lateral Entry examination named LEET which is conducted by HSBTE. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years B.Tech course.

You can get admission in diploma course through Lateral Entry exam after 12th standard so you are eligible to get admission in 2nd years of B.Tech degree through lateral entry exam.

Those candidates who have completed diploma course with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for lateral entry exam.

Your age should be above 18 years.
