Difference between Diploma courses and MDS? Does IGNOU provides one year Diploma in Endosontics and Implantology?


Want to know the difference between diploma courses and mds.
Some college provide 2 yr diploma course some peovide 1yr .
Some diploma courses are module based some are full fledge .
I had heard that ignou peovides diploma course of one yr in endosontics and implantology.
Is it true , does it still providing it.......

Diploma course and MDS course have huge difference, one is a degree and other is just a diploma qualification. You can't become a specialist physician without a MDS degree. Diploma is just an extra qualification to gain some skills in a given area of expertise.

IGNOU doesn't offer courses related to medical science because it requires a lot of practical training, which IGNOU can't provide. IGNOU offers only those courses, which are possible to study theoretically without any practical training.
