I am sorry to say that you cannot appear for IBPS PO & clerk examination after having cleared your Diploma course, as the minimum eligibility criteria in order to appear for the examination is that you should have completed your graduation from a recognized university.

No, it is not okay.
According to the eligibility criteria released by the IBPS for the PO and Clerk, * The candidate should be of 21 years of age at least. * The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized university under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least. A diploma is not equivalent to the Graduation. It is equivalent to 12th only. So, you need to do a graduation degree if you want to apply for such jobs which have graduation as the eligibility criteria. |

Re: Is Diploma in Computer Operations enough for IBPS PO & Clerk exams?
As far as my knowledge is concerned, it won't create any problem during selection. The main reason why it does not create problem is as follows.
>> Choosing knowledge of computer option is an Optional option. So the main aim to choose the option is to know that candidates have good knowledge on Computers. >> And besides this, as you have good knowledge of computers I am sure you are eligible to apply and no need to worry about this. |
