Eligibility for job in Air Force after final year diploma?


Sir, I am a student in final year diploma. So I am eligible for any test in air force. Please provide me all information.

No, you are not eligible to get job in Air Force being a Diploma holder. The basic educational qualification required is either 12th Class or Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. There are two ways to join Air Force,

>> Through NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam
Basic Qualification: 12th Class

>> Through CDS (Combined Defence Services) Examination
Basic Qualification: Graduate Degree

In order to join Air Force through NDA Exam, candidates must have passed 12th Class from a recognized university. Where as you can also join Air Force through Combined Defence Services Exam for which basic educational qualification required is Graduation from a recognized university. So I suggest you to do Graduate Degree after Diploma course in order to be eligible for joining Air Force.

You are final year of diploma course so you are eligible for Indian Air Force exam in Technical post through NDA exam in group X exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard/ diploma from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam.

Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years.

No, diploma passed candidates are not eligible to join Air Force. To join Air Force you have to appear for CDS examination.

As, to appear for CDS examination minimum qualification is graduation degree but you need to have B.Tech to appear for Air Force or graduation with Physics or Mathematics.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination now.
