Yes, diploma candidates are eligible for Indian Navy through NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Written Examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time 5 hour

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

You can apply for Artificier Apprentice post in Indian Navy if you have done Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. This post is specially for Diploma holders and you have to perform very in the exam to get selected.

You are eligible for direct entry Artificier Apprentice. Just make sure you have got at least 50% marks in your Diploma Engineering course.

Age should be between 18 to 22 years. Minimum height required is 157 cms. Should have good physical and mental health. Eyesight should be at least 6/9. Color blindness is not allowed.

Written Exam will have objective type questions from English, Math, GK and Science. There will be a physical fitness test which will include one mile run in 7 minutes, 20 sit ups and 10 push ups.

ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA-

You must have 12th or Diploma passed student with minimum 50% of marks.

Your age must not be less than 16.5 years and must not exceed than 19 years.

So, you can join Indian navy through NDA.
