As told that you are a 2nd year student you are not eligible for joining in Indian Navy as you don't satisfy the needed qualification for joining. The Basic procedure of joining in Indian Navy or any other defence forces is by writing the entrance exam for it and as per those you are not satisfying the needed qualification to write the entrance exam to join in Indian Navy As per the education qualification needed as doing a graduation,it is that you need to have completed your graduation from a recognized university and it can be any stream and you should have got a fair percentage of it. Even when you are writing your final degree exam you are eligible for applying for the exams. There are many entrance exams conducted for joining in Indian Navy as per the qualification which you possess and as regarding that you can attempt to write the CDS exam right after completing your graduation This exam stands for Combined Defence Service and this exam is conducted by UPSC every year. For writing this exam you need to be a citizen of India and must be a unmarried male candidate as Martial Status is applicable for this exam. The age limit for the exam states that the candidate must have 19-22 years of age. I have already mentioned about the education qualification above. So along with all these qualifications you need to be physically fit as per the physical standards needed.
