I have secured 65% in my diploma in electrical engineering. It is a 3-year diploma program. Can I get the admission to join the 2nd year as lateral entry student at COE Pune? It will be helpful if you can get back to me on this soon.

Yes, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of Engineering course through lateral entry admission process after completion of your Diploma course. To get lateral entry admission in Engineering course, you have to appear in lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education. By qualify the entrance examination, you have to participate in the counselling process according to your examination rank, so, that you will be offered a seat in a particular college for pursuing Engineering course.
