When I can get admission in diploma after completion of ITI in August 2016?
I will complete my ITI in August 2016 and I will get my certificate in January. Can I join diploma 2016 or I should wait for 1 year?

Yes, you can join diploma after completion of ITI course without waiting for a year.
Diploma is a 3 years course after matriculation. But 12th scw students and ITI holders are eligible for lateral entry diploma. So, they can get admission in 2nd year of diploma directly. Hence, they can complete the diploma course in 2 years. To join diploma by lateral entry you must have scored minimum 40% in ITI or qualifications examination without any backlogs. Once you fulfill the eligibility criteria of lateral entry diploma, then you are free to apply for 2nd year diploma after ITI. |
