Can I apply for an education loan against of 50 thousand fixed deposit in Jan Dhan Yojna account?


Hello sir, I want to study professional course but I have no sufficient money. I was opened a bank account of Jan Dhan Yojna in PNB. My father deposited 50 thousand in my account as a fixed term for 4 years. Can I apply for an education loan of 4 lakh against of it?

You can get a limited loan according to the value of the fixed deposit. They will not give you 4 lakhs loan on the basis of 50 thousand fixed deposit.

You might need a guarantor to get your loan sanction. The income of the guarantor will be the main factor in sanctioning of loan.
