Can I apply for an Education Loanat Bank of Maharashtra without guarantor?


I am interested to apply an education loan in Bank of Maharashtra. But I would not be able to provide a guarantor. But my friends told me that guarantor is necessary for applying an education loan. So, I would like to know that I can apply an education loan in this bank without a guarantor?

If you are applying loan under Rs. 4 Lakh then there is no need of guarantor.
Every bank have same function. You have not mentioned for how much loan amount you have to apply. But if the loan amount is more than Rs. 4 Lakh then it is compulsory to have a guarantor.
