This is shivaram ,i have completed my b_tech.
I had qualified GATE.And now i am eligible for getting scholarship of 12,500.
can I apply for MHRD scholarship through GATE? Can someone let me know the procedure on the same?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for MHRD scholarship. As you have cleared your GATE. If you wish to avail MHRD scholarship one must secure a seat in post graduate course under counseling process.

Only GATE qualified candidate's are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship offered is Rs. 2000/- per month which will be paid for 10 months in an academic year.

**But for availing the scholarship you must have got a seat in post graduation through GATE score in any AICTE approved institution..

**After getting admission you are eligible for the GATE scholarship of rs 12400 per months for 2 years..

**You have to fill an application form online in AICTE website...
