I belongs to a ST category student and I want to do MBBS by getting the Education Loan. I would like to know about the details of Education Loan scheme of UCO Bank and age limit to apply for ST students?

The details of UCO Bank Education loan scheme are mentioned below :-

--> You should have secured admission in MBBS course in a recognised college/ university.

--> Quantum of loan :- Rs. 10 lakhs (for studies in India) and Rs 20 lakhs (for studies in Abroad).

--> Moratorium Period :- Course period + 1 year after completion of studies.

--> Repayment Tenure :-15 years after moratorium period.

--> Processing Charge :- Nil.

--> Margin :-
Upto Rs. 4 Lacs :- Nil
Above Rs. 4 Lac Studies in India :- 5%
For studies in Abroad :- 15%

--> Rate of Interest :-
Upto Rs 7.50 lacs :- MCLR of 1 Year + 2.00%
Above Rs.7.50 lacs :- MCLR of 1 Year + 2.40%

Age Limit for ST students :-
--> For Graduation :- 30 years
--> For Post Graduation :- 33 years

=> Quantum of loan :- Rs. 10 lakhs (for studies in India) and Rs 20 lakhs (for studies in Abroad).

=> Margin :-
Upto Rs. 4 Lacs :- Nil
Above Rs. 4 Lac Studies in India :- 5%
For studies in Abroad :- 15%

=> Rate of Interest :-
Upto Rs 7.50 lacs :- MCLR of 1 Year + 2.00%
Above Rs.7.50 lacs :- MCLR of 1 Year + 2.40%

=> Moratorium Period :- Course period plus 1 year after completion of education.

=> Repayment Tenure :-15 years after moratorium period.

=> Processing Charge :- Nil.

The age Limit to apply for an Education loan for SC/ ST students is mentioned below :-

--> For Graduation :- 30 years
--> For Post Graduation :- 33 years
