There is no minimum mark required. The eligibility criteria for appearing in GATE examination is as follows:

- Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology and those who are in the final year of the program.

- Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in final year of the program.

- Candidates in fourth or higher year of Four year integrated Master’s degree program.

The qualifying marks vary from year to year and this year it was 25 for the general candidates.
There is no reservation in GATE for the Muslim Minorities and the qualifying marks for you is same as that of other general candidates and it was 25 for this year.
In general the qualifying marks varies from 25 to 30 so you must try and make sure that you score more than 30 if you wan to qualify for the GATE Examination.

Dear Friend..

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is given by almost all the engineering students for higher studies or for getting job in reputed PSU's..

Since there isn't any muslim minority category in GATE exam..

Following are the category and respective approx cut off existing in gate exam:
--General- 25 marks..
--OBC-22.5 marks
--SC/ST/pwd- 16.67 marks..
