Is it possible to get GATE stipend without taking admission in any college?

Since GATE stipend is given by AICTE to those students who got admission in AICTE approved institutions through GATE score..

So, you will not get the stipend without taking admission in any college..

For availing the GATE stipend you must have admitted in any AICTE approved college..

No, it is not possible to get GATE stipend without taking admission in any college.
Also, candidate who are admitted for part time course are not eligible.
Candidates under creamy layer are also not eligible.

If you are under non creamy layer OBC, ST, SC, Physically Handicapped, then only you can apply for GATE stipend.

To avail the scholarship, the candidate must secure admission to such a postgraduate program, as per the prevailing procedure of the admitting institution. So, you must secure the minimum score such that you may get admission in IITs/NITs/othe goverment institutions. The Scholarships offered to GATE qualified candidates are 1. MHRD stipend / Scholarship: 8000/- pm; 2. Research fellowship MHRD + professor’s project : 9000~10000/- pm; 3. Industry fellowship / Scholarship: 10000 ~14000/- pm; Last two scholarships are most common in IITs and NITs.
