colleges and num of seats for diploma holders in civil branch

Guys, I have a civil eng. diploma with 2years experience in rural sanitation, currently working for a govt sector they doing HR work , can any one assit , I want to get engineering experience. i am based in South Africa. I have tried to enroll B-tech but it too difficult for due to insuffient practical exposure.

dear friend ,

diploma holders have the great opportunities to get jobs in the core companies belongs to the civil engineering.

after doing the diploma and when you are in final year of the graduation you can apply for the jobs in the best companies like L&T that is larson and toubro , bharat heavy electricals limited , zs associates , iocl , etc

after doing the diploma when you take the admission in the B.E./B.TECH courses .
at that time of the 4 year program your whole academics must be better to get the best jobs.

Yes there is a way.All diploma holders can do engineering.Diploma holders get admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech course through lateral entry scheme.So apply for the lateral entry examination.

Scope for Diploma Holders

The very fact that the a student is only a diploma holder and is not having a degree becomes a negative point for him..a degree is always preferred by a company..even in the interviews..the interviewer will always give preference to a degree holder rather than a diploma holder..

After completing your diploma in Civil Engineering..you can still get a degree by joining as a lateral entry in a college of your choice..

you just have to go to your desired college and give the lateral entry exam..

if you clear the exam..you shall get direct admission to the 2nd year of that college..and you can continue pursuing your degree..
