For this academic year, AIEEE 2011 is going to be conducted on 01-05-2011.
This exam is for giving admissions to engineering in more than 60 prestigious engineering colleges in India. Here i am providing you the eligibility criteria for AIEEE. -The minimum academic qualification that one need to have to appear for AIEEE is a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent. -Those who are appearing for final year exams of 10+2 are also eligible for AIEEE on provisional basis -One can attempt for the AIEEE for a maximum of 3 attempts and that too in consecutive years. -One should have Physics, Mathematics and chemistry as the compulsory subjects in 10+2. -Only candidates whose date of birth falls after October 1 ,1986 are eligible to appear for the exam |

ya,
if you are appearing for BE/BTech entrance should compulsory have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th and atleast one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. if you are appearing for architecture courses should have Mathematics in class 12th with at-least 50% marks aggregate Date of availability of formsecember first week, 2009-January first week, 2010. best of luck...[/QUOTE] |

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Date of Birth : Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1986 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handica pped (PH) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PH candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1981 are eligible. NOTEate of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic. |

The minimum qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2011 is-
Candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 50% marks for general category candidates SC/ST/OBC/PH -40 % marks in 12th. T hose appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE 2011 provisionally. AIEEE exam is the one of the toughest exam in India so you have to prepare for it . Study 11th and 12th NCERT books deeply. |

eligibility for appearing in the aieee is the 10+2 board exam or equivalent exam.
after securing good marks in the aieee and if you are interested to take admission in the colleges offered by aieee then you must have score 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 exam (40% in case of reserved category candidates.) |

To be eligible for All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) the candidate must be 10+2 passout with Physics and Mathematics as qualifying academic subjects and any of the subjects from Chemistry/Bio Technology/Computer science/Biology. Furthure more, the candidate must have aggregate of 50% for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). 10+2 appearing students can also appear for the exam provisionally.

AIEEE is All India Engineering Entrance Exam.to be eligible,in AIEEE you only need to paas 12th exams with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and third should be one of the subjects - Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Biotechnology. There is no condition regarding the aggregate marks in PCM subjects. But if you want to appear for Architecture courses, you must have Mathematics compulsory with atleast 50% aggregate marks.

I have come to know that one of my friends brother didn't get admision into an engineering college just because he didn't score minimum 50% in mathematics in CBSE board exam this year though he cleared AIEEE.. So if this is true then what is the criteria.??

For eligible in AIEEE, you have required either academic qualification in 10+2 standard exam or its equal exam. And you have physics, chemistry , and biology in your Class XII exam. And also 50% marks is minimum required for this. All the best> |

AIEEE is a all india engineering entrance exam which is conduct all over india. huge competetion is there to get seat in AIEEE. The eligibility criteria is student passed 12th with an aggregate of 50% and Maths, physics, chemistry are compulsory subjects. |

* Candidates should be the citizen of India. * Candidates should have complete 12th standard from a recognized institute. * Candidates should get 50% at 12th. * Candidates should have studied physics and maths as subject. * Candidates should have age limit within 17 to 22 years. * Candidates can appear AIEEE exam 3 times in a year.
