also you can go for government jobs. like in indian army, indian railway, indian navy etc etc.

also you may join in any other civil service.

Civil services & IT sector jobs are from different sectors, i would like to suggest you to choose any one then you can proceed in the direction of your desired field.

As a B.Sc(IT) student it doesn't matter you have done your degree from distance learning or not. You can appear in walking interviews organized by IT companies.

And for information of this it is better for you to upload your resume into various websites like:
www.naukri.com
www.freshersworld.com etc.

these sites will alert you after any jobs comes in the market which satisfy by your resume, & they will alert you through Email or through sms.
