hi i m vimal , i completed aircraft maintenance engineering course which is under graduate degree. my age is 21.5 , my height is 172 cm , weight 64kg. so im i eligible for this ? i want serve for my nation and my people , so pls suggest me what to do..... thanking you

After 10th you can join Air Force by Clearing NDA exam .The Process is to be short-listed for Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a 3-year training at National Defence Academy, followed by specialised training at the Air Force Academy.
NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year . Eligibility Criteria: Age : 16 ˝ to 19 years Nationality: Indian Sex: applicable only to men. Educational Qualifications: You should have passed/appearing in your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. |

CDS stands Combined Defence Service
it is conducted by UPSC twice a year it gives recruitment to students to any of the wings of the military > ARMY > AIRFORCE > NAVY eligibility you must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline candidates in the final year are also eligible age limit Indian Military Academy -19-24 years Air Force Academy-19-23 years Naval Academy- 19-22 years Officers’ Training Academy-19-25 years (not before 2 June) SELECTION PROCESS > written exam > ssb > medical test |

The information you want to know is as follow… eligibility-- 1)you should be a graduate engineer. 2)you should be less than 23 years of age. this year CDSE is going to happen on 19.09.2010. the notification for the exam will come in employment newspaper in the month of april 2010. for more information visit: www.upsc.gov.in hope this will help you thank you |

CDS : Stands for the Common Defence Services exam and for which the union public service is conducting the exam twice in a year and with the name of the CDS I And CDS II And if you want to join the Any of the Department that comes under the exam than you have to clear the exam.. For the exam their is 2 stages first is the written test of the objective type and than their will be a ssb of 5 days in which your mental as well as the physical ability is checked and also the most difficult part of the exam is the ssb because most of the or almost all candidates are failed in the ssb .so better would be to work hard for the ssb and work very much hard if you want to get success .. Eligibility Criteria for the CDS Exam: ~ The Aspirant must be pass in the degree of the graduation ~ The Final year aspirants are also allowed for the exam Age Limits : ~ The Age limit for the IMA is 19-24 ~ The age limit for the Indian Naval 19-22 ~ The age limit for the OTA 19-25 ~ The age limit for the Indian Air Force 19-23 Attempts ~ Their is no limitation on the attempts Nationality : ~ The Candidate should be a citizen of India Best of luck |

CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried National Having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 years to 25 years with good Physical and Mental health. The CDS exam is conducted two times every years as CDS-I and CDS-II. For the year 2012 both the two exams has already been over. If you are interested yo have to wait for the CDS-I 2013 exam which will be held in the month of February 2013. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |
