for Online Application Form submission you should obtain a demand draft for the amount Rs 800/- (Rs 400/- for SC/ST/PD) only in favour of "Chairman GATE, IIT Kanpur" payable at Kanpur.
for Offline Application Form you should obtain a demand draft for the amount Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PD) payable at the city of the respective zonal GATE office. best of luck
