BITS course is not AICTE approved since they are a Deemed university. The government rule says only non universities (or institutes not affiliated to any university) need AICTE approval to certify that they are fit to give degrees. BITS has been one of the premier institutions of India from 1979 and they don't require this approval to prove they are the best.

i would like to add a few points on this discussion .these deemed universities always have troubles with aicte.
I had done my b.e(e&c) from visvesvaraya technological university & ms in vlsi design from manipal university .
However bits is not a comparison for manipal . Bits is always top in all aspects
but the problem is with the aicte guys. These are the hell shit creatures on this earth .without der accreditation it is a big time problem to opt for teaching domain .
However ms is a par with aicte for all deemed university s.
In case if u r planning a corporate sector then these degrees will really help.
Else serioulsly trust me m.tech with aicte approval is the safest for any look corner in this world .
Cause degrees ending with tech is given only by aicte
other degrees can be issued by any other deemed university s without aicte approval .it wont be considered as technical sector

after finishing my m.s i want to work in teaching feild.. will this wipro ms help for us???

yes friend it is one of the best colleges in INDIA and is ranked in TOP 20 engineering colleges of India .
yes off-course it is approved by AICTE
