can anybody who has passed the MS degree from BITS,pilani under WASE program guide me...
1.)which one is better MCA from regular univ. or WASE???
2.)if i choose WASE what will be the future after MS degree???
3.)is it true that even a single subject is back then the candidate is out of WASE???

1) WASE is better then MCA, Because it gives you full 4 years Training in Software under IT Giant Wipro, a MS which is highly valueable degree all over the world and from BITS which is one of the TOP Engineering and Technology Institute of India. If we talk of BITS reputation in India, then after IIT and IISC it BITS.

2) Nothing to worry about Futur it will be bright enough to get into TOP IT giant viz: TCS, IBM, WIPRO and MS degree has far reputed in Abroad then in India.

3) Even a single Backlog may spoil your WASE dreams. Not only that if somone does'nt have at least 50% in 10th, 50% in 12th (With MAthematics) and 60% in graduation viz: BCA, B.sc (CS/IT/Physics/Electronic/MAthematics), BCS.

I think WASE is better . Wipro leveraged the expertise of one of India's premier technical institutes to coordinate its education program.The pedagogy & evaluation methodologies are chosen & implemented by BITS in consultation with Wipro,s talent transformation division, the faculty is arranged by BITS & the MS degree is also awarded by the institute.It is an 8 semester( 4 year) off campus collaborative MS program equivalent in status to full-time 2 years MS degree program offered by BITS.

Hi, Also Doing MS in WASE, Has many benefits like you also act as an Employee and will be monthly paid.

The scenario is, You work as a junior engineer(Called WASION) within, For 4.5 to 5 days a week. You will have regular classes which might start in friday afternoon or saturday and sunday. You will be provided with (or) will have full access to internet within Intranet around the week. You will have good Exposure to Corporate culture will pursuing your MS.

You can continue as Softwer Engineer after completing MS in WASE.

Your doubt 3, I think you are, while doing WASE, If so, If you have valid reason for Backlog like you were in tough project etc, not to worry, You can take attempt.

wase is no doubt a better option than mca .after ms degree tou are in a position to work with MNC and have a bright carrer as well.dont think about any backlog as you will be otherwise choose for another option.

i am more interested in hardware. i have cleared microsoft MCP and server certifications. i have been selected for wase. ..software. i wonder if i will like it. what should i do ?

You will never be treated as a Wase Student in your project. You are as similar as a software engineer in every aspect.(otherthan the pay ofcourse ;-) )

I would like to join this program but i would complete my degree only in july 2011 am i eligible??..

wase rocks..............and @ all, try to promote this oppurtunity as much as you can.....because this is ths biggest oppurtunity a normal Bsc, BCA graduate can get..............best of luk.....to all.....for the future

I am giving suggestion, if u want means take it, I asked software employee whether bond is good or not, they told me put the bond dont bother about that, after few months, you ask them give certificates for passport, and one more if u got the job, other company u must clear the bond for that u must do rapidly take a leave dont do the job in company automatically they send u out

I have been selected for the wase program.What should I do next(procedures) to join the program?Should I first report to wipro about joining the program or should I take steps such as medical examination and contacting SBI?

I got above 85% in all classes but after My PUc i stopped my studying with 2 years and after that i continue my studies without any backloggs. now iam eliglable for this wase entrance exam?

hello friend.. i have recently been selected for the WASE program. It's a 48month course where you work for 5 days a week and the rest two days, you have to attend classes from BITS faculty. you can check whether your name is in the list of selected candidates. students who have given their HR interview upto 8 jan 2011 and cleared the process are listed in the pdf at http://careers.wipro.com/it/campus/india/wase.htm.

Classes will be conducted on Sundays. From monday to friday you will be working on projects and saturday you will be having classes from 9:A.M to 6:P.M

if i got backlog in wase, is there any options rather thn wase? I'm litle bit cnfuse bcoz all are sayin dat its hard to clear all the sem bcoz one can't concentrate on studies bcoz of hard jobs. Pliz clear my doubts.

1) WASE is better becoz u get both degree and working exposure
2) after completing wase u would be continuing in wipro as an employee
3) NO, u should have 2 subjects back or 1 subject+1 poor rating in appraisal

WASE is better than MCA . If u joined in wase you will get the MS from BITS , salary and 4 years experience in one top most company . after completion of your MS u can go for another company . there is no exit for wase people ...

if i got backlogs, is there any other options that we can do in the cmpany itself? coz sm1 told me that if we hv backlogs then its totally spoil.

No not at all. Just you need to pass degree with 60 % aggregate. that's it.

Hi I am in my BCA final year now... n I hv a backlog in my 4th sem

Even if you were selected for Wipro WASE Program, if you have backlogs, you will not be allowed to continue the course. You need to submit your degree mark list for verification and is prompted very often. Only after the clearance, you will be followed to next batch classes.

Wipro conducts a strict verification for academic qualification.
