second year student (branch cs) .i want to join raw or cbi so
plz tell me about this . I know the qualification,
age and true preparation.what i can join entrance
exam of cbi or raw.

Nice to hear that you want to join the Central Bureau Of Investigation Department.

But if you want to join it , then you have to crack the Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission.

The Eligibility Criteria for this exam are :

* You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university.

* Final Year Graduation students can also apply for the same.

* Your age must be in between 21-27 years.

* There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for students belonging to OBC Category and of 5 years for those belonging to SC/ST Category.

* The Minimum Height required is 165 cms.

* The minimum chest required is 76cms with expansion.

Eligibility for CBI officer:


1. Educational Qualification

To be eligible for becoming an ASI in CBI one should hold a Bachelor of any stream.

2. Age

The candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date.

The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of certain categories of employees working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel.

3. Physical Requirements

a. Height

i. For men -165cms.
ii. For women -150cms
Height relax able for Hills men and Tribal s: 5cms

b. Chest:

76cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)

c.Vision:

Eye-Sight (with or without glasses)
Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye.
Near Vision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye
