Please don't worry about your job ,you have choosen a good branch .
I tell you in my family & relative there are five electrical engineer and every body in goverment sector & have good pay scale and one is in final year of B.tech(Electrical branch).

Overall job opportunities in engineering are expected to be good, and, indeed, prospects will be excellent in certain specialties.

For more detailed information on an engineering specialty, contact societies representing the individual branches of engineering. Each can provide information about careers in the particular branch.

yaaa safe...n it mostly depends on one's interest...if they dont have interest they find reasons to quit....but for highly desired woman its always safe and a prestigious job to work on field....posts like DE(DIVISIONAL ENGINEER)etc at subtations they are well protected ,nothing is harmful...posts in power plants are also safe....even the nuclear power plants are well protected now a days....so its no place for fear n unsafe for girls...they can do as good as men .....

Yes you will surely get a great job after you graduate in EEE. But for that you have to apply for off-campus placements in some companies of your choice. Mostly company gives out the notification about the off campus placement.

The scope of EEE is really wide but if you continue you education and move to MTech then it will be a great boost for your career
