First let you know that railway is not a public sector unit. It is a central government organization different jobs in railwaysare listed below :
1) Officer Cadre - You can enter through the Engineering Services Examination through UPSC.
2) Section Engineer - Youcan enter through the Examination conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board.Considering Railways, theMechanical Department has a wide scope and there are more number of jobs asked every yearwhen compared to ECE. Electronic and communication engineers generally look into the field of signal field in the communication dept of engineering section.

And this job you can apply after doing B.TECH in ECE.

sir, i done my b.tech in ece with 70% .....i heard that after b.tech there will be direct interview without having any written tests.........is it true or false ...or we have to write any entrance exam......plz give me correct answer........
