Hi dear,

You can join Indian Army after after 10th but not as on officer. You can
join Indian Army after 10+2 as an officer through NDA exam.

NDA is the exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year named as
NDA I and NDA II. To apply for this exam you should be 10+2 pass in
any discipline from a recognized institute. You can also apply for the
NDA exam when you appeared in the 10+2 exam.


The age limit for the NDA exam is between 16½ - 19 years at the time of
training.

Height
The minimum acceptable height in the Indian Army for the officer rank is
157.6 cm. So you should not be below this height if you want to join Indian
Army as an officer.

you can join in the Indian Army after 10th.

but you will be get lower grade post.

and it is not possible to get officer rank after joining as a lower grade.

but if you can join after 12th through the NDA exam then you will be get officer grade rank.

you will be get lieutenant post.

so it will be better for you to do first 12th science with must PCM subject choice.

then after you must join in the Indian Army.

No,now your are not eligible to appear for NDA exam.To appear for NDA exam,you should have complete 12th class or appearing for final exam of 12th class can also apply.So take interest stream in 12th class.
NDA exam is held twice in year,to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Air Force,Indian Navy and Indian Army.

There is different criteria for different service in NDA exam.So take stream in 12th according to your interest area in defense services.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:
For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy:
You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university.And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
For Indian Army:
You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

And NDA-I exam notification will release in the month of December and exam will held in the month of April every year.
NDA-II exam notification will release in the month of May and exam will held in the month of August every year.

My Physical standards -

Height - 157 cms.

Weight - 45 kgs.
Chest - 79/84 cm. May i be a Air force/navy/army officer ?

After completion of your 10th standard you are applicable for Indian Army exam. But the post are-
1)Constable
2)Cook
3)Driver

Also you are applicable for CISF ,CRPF ,BSF ,ITBP etc post.But this post for only GD grade.

Every state recruit the Police constable , so you are applicable here.

If you have completed your 12th standard then you are eligible for NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy .This exam is conducted by UPSC twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with science ,arts ,commerce departments are applicable for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There are no age relaxation criteria for SC/ST criteria.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.Also you must have citizenship of India.

I'm my opinion you should to study continue to 12th standart than passed are you eligible for NDA exam.

dear aspirant

you seem to be a bright student in academics, so i would advise you don't be in a hurry to join the army on 10th basis because you can't get good position on 10th basis,

you should join army after cracking nda after 12th,

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY , its exam is conducted by upsc twice a year,

eligibility for nda :

must be a citizen of india

must be 12th passed from a recognized board

must be studied physics,chemistry and maths in class 12th for navy and air force

any stream student is eligible for indian army

age limit is 16.5 to 19 years

must be unmarried male

eyesight should be 6/6

height minimum accepted is 157.5 cm

so you should first complete your 12th and then join nda ,

You are not eligible for the Indian Army after 10th class. you are eligible after 12th standard.
Indian Army it is one of the wing of NDA.In NDA there has three wings i.e Inidian Army,Indian Navy,Indian Air Force.NDA exam is conducted every year in the months of April and August by UPSC.

Candidate should complete Secondary Education (12th standard) from any recognized state board of India.

Age limit:

candidate age limit is Minimum 16.5 years

Candidate age limit is Maximum 19 years.

There is no upper age relaxation.

***Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible to apply this exam.

yes in any case of field physical and educational;l qualification are two most criteria which are to be consider..height,weight,chest,ey vision its sounds to be minimum cause but in defense field these are most important criteria which has to be considered .

they will not compromise with the eligibility.

we are familiar with it if anyone want to be a part of any sector or any company you have to manage or follow its rule and condition.if you feel not comfortable then better to leave it

This exam is not only for to join Indian Army but also to join Navy and Air Force.
