when is the last date of registration for IES exam?

Here are the tentative important dates of IES 2010 Exam

Announcement of notification : January Last week, 2010

Date of exam: 26th, 27th, and 28th June, 2010 (3 days)

Last date of submission of forms : 2nd March, 2010

Schedule of IES 2010

IES Notification was released on 09.01.10 in employment news.

Last date for reciept for application form was 08.02.10

Entrance has been scheduled to held on 05.06.10

So,you have missed the chance this time.Now you can appear for it next year.

Schedule of IES 2011

IES Notification is likely to be released on 08.01.11

Last date for reciept of Application form would be 07.02.11

Entrance exam will be held on 04.06.11

So,better next time.

because the last date for ies 2010 is gone many days back,

the notification for the next years exam will be coming in the month of January,

You can find from above IES exam statistics that close to 30% -40% people who applies for IES exam, does not appears for the IES exam. Also majority of the screening is done at the Written test - only 1.5% - 3% of those who writes the exam are called for interview. However, once you are called for the interview, chances of being finally selected is pretty good- 30%- 40%.

if you are studying in 3rd year then you can not give the ies exam this year,you can give it when you are in the final year,that means next year

the age limit is 30 years and the number of attempts for an general candidate is 7 times,
for an sc/st candidate there is relaxation of 5 years in age limit and no limit for the number of attempts

there is no exam fees for the ies exam,
the application form costs rs.20 and you have to stick an stamp of rs.100 on it which is available in the post office,
you can also apply online by paying rs.100 through credit card or debit card

and let me tell you that ies exam is conducted only for four subjects they are civil.mechanical,electrical ,and electronics,
