I am getting a score around 245 in IIT JEE 2011. Can you please tell me the branch & IIT where I will get admission?

If u got marks around 245 , then you will be securing the rank between 3001 to 4000.
according to it , you can easily get iit karagpur and branch could be electrical.

Hi dear,
in my opinion , this year in comparison the paper was easy from previous years, so i think the cutoff mark will be high like that of 180-190. so getting 245 marks in iitjee will get you to secure 4000-4500 rank. As this is only the tenative rank prediction , you have to wait for the final result. and if you get this rank then you can get admission in IIT BHU,
IIT MADRAS etc, at mechanical engeneering stream.
Just pray that my prediction get wrong and you can get higher rank in IITJEE so that you can get even more better college and better stream such as computer science.

As per your result that is surely chance to you you have admission in the IIT-JEE but its doesn't conform that you have a choice to choose branches ...

If you are in category criteria so you have a choice ...

First of all congratulations on being selection in IIT JEE. you got 245 numbers do, your estimated rank is between 3500-4500. So you will get good IIT as well as good branch.
You will get Biotechnology in IIT Kanpur, CIVIL, Mathematics and Chemical in IIT BHU and many good branches, so fill the counseling carefully in the order of preference of your branch and college.
If you are a category student then you will definitely get good branch as well as good college.

b.tech mechanical branch gate got 4500 rank. whether i will get iit madras or not pl
