dear sir
i am 10+2 pass with non medical with 63percent .my budget is medium what i can do for better future also gives detail for admission in railways engineering |

look you can aply for NDA or you can take admission through entrance in any govt college in B.tech, and choose subjects of your choice but as far as the details of railway engineering is concerned you can follow the details written below:::

first you preparing for engneering like AIEEE,IIT because here fee is low cost
i think its on your budget.. you score good rank here.. then take admission in engneering with branch mechanical .... and after this you prepare for I.E.S. EXAMS THEN YOU SURELY TAKE JOB IN INDIAN RAILWAY WITH YOUR DREAM JOB.... all the best.... |

if you want to do engineering in railway then ........ at first you doing your b.tech from some government college after that you should give the exam for I R S.......... through this exam you can join the jobs in railway.......... so best of luck |

The notice for the examination, along with form and syllabus, is brought out by the UPSC around the months of June-July. According to the new rules issued by the Ministry of Railways, the exam is now conducted once every two years........ Selection to the various engineering branches of the Railways is done through an Engineering Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Dholpur House, Shah Jahan Road, New Delhi. Through this examination candidates are selected for various government organisations e.g Military Engineering Services, Ordinance Factories Engineering Services, Central Engineering Services etc. and also for the Railways.

in this case i will suggest you to give the exam of SCRA. this exam is conducted by the upsc. after passing the exam you can build your carrier in your desired field. so it will be better for you, o k all the best |

i know it is tough to make a good field in this situation. well try your best note now eligibility High School/SSC or equivalent qualification with maths or science and having a minimum of 3 years experience or having 3-years Diploma in any Engineering discipline recognised by Central/State or Union Territory Government or a Science/ Engineering Graduate or a Graduate having had Maths or Science as one of the subjects in Intermediate/Plus 2 of SSC. I would like to clear that there is not any specfic strean like Railway Engineering.....as Electrical or Mechnical Engg.////...... Yes there is sub branch of Electrical called as Traction Engineer ....you have to is there any college studing traction.........as stream in M.tech |

Selection to the various engineering branches of the Railways is done through an Engineering Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Dholpur House, Shah Jahan Road, New Delhi. Through this examination candidates are selected for various government organisations e.g Military Engineering Services, Ordinance Factories Engineering Services, Central Engineering Services etc. and also for the Railways. Eligibility - Graduate Engineers/MSc degree holders with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics, Radio Engineering as special subjects for certain posts only can appear for the Engineering Services examination. The candidates must be between 21 and 30 years (as on 1st Aug) Examination - The written examination is in two parts. Section I is the Objective type paper while Section II is the conventional type paper covering Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Candidates selected through this test have to appear for an Interview and Personality Test. Recruitment to the various services is based on merit in the written examination and the preference indicated while applying. Hello friend,
To get admission at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Jamalpur, Bihar, you will have to appear for SCRA exam conducted by UPSC for recruiting junior officers to the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers. The eligiblity is a pass in +2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The age limit is 21 years, which is relaxed for reserved and specified categories. The written examination consists of three papers of 200 each. General ability test (English, general knowledge and psychological test) Physical sciences (physics and chemistry) Maths The questions are approximately of +2 level and there is negative marking for wrong answer. The written examination is followed by personality test. If a candidate is selected, he/she will be sent for four years of apprenticeship at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Jamalpur, Bihar. |

if you want to railway engineer then please take admission in B.tech by given exam like AIEEE or your state entrance exam. i think you are from science branch.and B.tech stream should be Mechanical engineering or Civil engineering or electrical engineering or electronic engineering in this field in railway center per year take some employee all the best |

first of all you don't mention your budget . if you are belongs from medium categories family then at first i suggest to you that join in coaching center like "pathfinder" for preparation . If you are elligable in WBJEE ,IIT,AIEEE etc. exam then you simply get the chance for railway engineering. Otherwise you can take some training from railway department. as your economical condition is not good so you can directly apply for jobs in Indian railway after 12th board. there are lot of vacancies for the post of ESM, TCM,TC, etc in Indian railway.but i will suggest you to complete your graduation.because after graduation your chances of getting jobs in Indian railway will increase. you can apply for assistant station master, TA, CA etc. you can also join Indian railway after doing engineering.you can take bank loans for education. good luck. |

If you have faith on your talent then you have number of options to make your future bright. I am providing you some of the options that are as follows: 1. You can try for NDA 2. YOU can join defense service through TES (Technical entry scheme).In TES you have to face a written test and after qualifying in this test you will get admission in army institute of technology, ther you would do your BTech and finally you will be commissioned in the army as an officer. I want to inform you that the expenditure of your study will be beared by ARMY. 3.SCRA : If you want to join Indian railway , you can appearfor the exam of SCRA,through it you will be become engineer in indian railway.the expenditure of your study will be beared by Indian railway. according to me you should do the B tech degree or the BE degree with minimum of the 60% marks and then apply for the IES entrance exam for the posts in the railway .. or you can even go for the SCRA exam after 12th board exam .........for the railway jobs..... |
