Eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy after 12th standard:
Candidate should have completed 12th standard with PCM stream from recognized university.
Age should be between 16 to 19 years.
A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.
1. Eye Sight = 6/6,
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight = 50 Kg
4. Chest = 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

You can get admission below mentioned colleges to pursue Merchant Navy course.
Training Ship Chanakya, Navi Mumbai.
Marine Engineering & Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata.

After 10th candidate can join merchant navy.
The age limit to join navy is between 16 to 19 yrs.
But the candidate should be phisically fit to join navy.

Yes, you are eligible to give examination for navy after B.Tech.
The mode of entrance is through
>> CDS
>> Direct entry scheme - University

Eligibility for CDS
>> Graduation degree from any recognized university
>> Min. 50% marks in graduation.
>> Age limit - 19 years to 25 years.
