Sir can i join merchant navy after my tenth standard and beecome an officer?

NO you cant join Merchant Navy as a cadet on the basis of 10th.
For getting into Merchant Navy as an officer, the applicant need to complete their B.Sc. degree in mechanical or marine engineering
OR
the students who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets

The Merchant Navy is a non combatant commercial Fleet which deals with transportation of Cargo and occasionally passenger by sea. The Merchant Navy fleet includes Cargo ship, Container ship, Tanker, Bulk carrier, Refrigerator ship and Passenger ship.

To become an officer in Merchant Navy, you have to complete 10+2 standard.

One can join as deck cadet on board a ship after completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and train on the job for three years. After on job training one has to appear for the competency exam as required by Union Ministry of Suface Transport, to be eligible to become a Navigation Officer.

I am sorry to say you that you can not apply for Merchant Navy to become can officer after completing class 10th.
The minimum educational qualification required to become a cadet is 10+2 with PCM.
So, firstly complete your intermediate degree.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1)AGE: The age of the candidates must be minimum 17years and maximum 25 years.

2)EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
>>The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% marks. They have to appear for entrance examination such as IIT-JEE, IGNOU etc.Then complete the course in Marine Engineering or Nautical Science Engineering.
>>those candidates who have completed their graduation in Technical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering are also eligible.

3)SEX AND MARTIAL STATUS: Both unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

The major task performed in 3 basic areas
1)The deck
2)The engine
3)The saloon department

For joining merchant navy one should be 12th passed with physics,chemistry and mathematics as there main subjects and after that aone can apply for merchant navy and one has to clear the test conducted by the office OR the person can also give NDA exam to take admission into navy

for this you have to join nid and have to give application for that.classes will start from october
