i am vivek kumar. i am a student of diploma. i give my final exam exam this year. would i give the entrence exam of iit-jee?

your qualifying exam for IIT-JEE will be

• If you are 12th class passout or appearing
  
• else if you are diploma passout or appearing...

Either of these qualification will be consider...

One must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate that is 60% overall percentage including Physics,chemistry and Maths in your qualifying exam for GENERAL AND OBC..and 55% for SC/ST,PD...

HI,
Yes you are eligible for IIT after passing Diploma after 12th.

Your diploma course is approve by A.I.C.T.E.

You should get minimum 60% marks in diploma.
Some relaxation is given to the ST/SC candidate.

Yes, my friend you are eligibile to appear in IIT-JEE exam, after completion of diploma course..

Eligible for IIT-JEE exam:-

1.candidate must have complete the 12th in science field having subjects like- Physics, chemistry and maths.
Or, must have complete the diploma course..

2.Candidate who is appearing in 12th board exam or a final year candidate of diploma course can also apply for IIT-JEE exam.

3.Candidates age should not be more than 25 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years.

As you have completed diploma course then you are eligible.
So, go for the exam..

You can appear for IIT JEE this year and next year.

A candidate in 10+2 and diploma weather passed or appearing can appear for IIT JEE along with their final year and consecutive next year.
