Age limit for IAS examination 2016


Please tell me that what is age limit for 2016 exam of IAS? I want to know that What is age limit for the 2016 exam for lAS officer?

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services.

Those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.

Age criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

Hello
Candidates applying for IAS examination should ensure all eligibility conditions. Government intends to raise upper age limit and number of attempts of applicants of civil services examination. Upper age limit will be 37 years for sc/st candidates with unlimited number of attempts, 35 years for obc candidates with 9 attempts while 32 years for general category with 6 attempts.
Eligibilty criteria:-
*Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
*Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree from a recognized university.

Dear.
It's problematic to tell you about the age limits for CSE exams because it's not yet confirmed.
But on the other hand I can tell you about last year's(2015) age limits which were like this;

*For general categories candidatea - 32 years
*For OBC category candidates- 35 years
*For SC/ST category candidates- 37 years

IAS exam stands for Indian Administrative Service which is conducted through UPSC every year , For this the candidates have to appear Civil Service Exam.

The are certain eligibility criteria which are as follows :

The candidates should be a citizen Of India.
The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize University.
The final year candidates can also apply for this exam.
The age limit is 21 - 30 years.

Age limitations for IAS exam:- Minimum age should be 21 years and does nothing exceed from 32 years.

Relaxation:-For OBC candidates 3 years age relaxation.

For SC candidates 5 years age relaxation.

Educational Requirements:-You must be graduate in any stream passing from recognized university.

Attempts for Exam:- 4 times for general

7 times for OBC category.

No limits for SC category .

Exam divided into three parts such as Preliminary,Mains & Interview.

**Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the administrative civil service of the Government of India.

**IAS other Eligibility Criteria==>
- You must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from a well known college or university
- You should be an Indian nationality
- You should be physically and medically capable.

IAS stands for Indian Administration Services. For IAS you have to write Civil Services Exam that is conducted by UPSC.

Age Limit- For IAS your age should be within 21 years to 32 years. There is also relaxation in age for OBC 3 years and for SC/ST 5 years.

Educational Qualification- You must have completed your graduation in any stream from recognised college or university.

IAS Indian Administrative Service which is undergraduate level exam.This exam conducted by UPSC Union Public Service Commission.

Age should be in between 21 to 32 years .

Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC category.

Age relaxation of 5 years for SC category.

Educational Requirements:-You must have passed graduate with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university.

Exam PatternPreliminary,Mains & Interview.

The eligibility criteria for the Civil Services examination, 2016 is:

>>Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. Only passing percentage of marks is required to apply for the exam.

>>The minimum age limit on 1st August of year of examination is 21 years and upper age limit for general category candidates is 32 years. Relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category, three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST category.

From 2015, CSAT paper is made qualifying, you must score 33% to pass this paper.

I.A.S stands for the Indian Administrative Officer and to become an I.A.S officer, candidates have to qualify in civil services examination conducted by the UPSC every year.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is:-
* Candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university.
* Candidates age must be between the 21-32 years with the relaxation in the age for the reserved category in upper age limit.

The notifications for 2016 examination is released and the application form for examination will be available from April 2016. The examination for the first stage will be conducted in the month of August.

IAS Notification 2016:-
  • Last date to apply Online Application- 19th June 2015
  • Last Date for Submission of Fee- 18th June 2015
  • Date of Civil Services Exam (Preliminary)- 23rd August 2015
  • Civil Services Exam (Mains)- 18th December 2015

You have to open the official website of UPSC and then click on ’UPSC online apply’ link on the right side of Homepage of above website. Then you have to fill up all entries carefully according to your documents. The third step is the photo and signature upload stage where you have to get the pixel of the picture correct along with the size. Lastly you have to make the paymenthrough online or by offline and take printout of application for future use.

To give the IAS Examination you need to be a citizen of India. Along with that you need to have a graduate degree. The degree can be obtained in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. The exam consists of a preliminary exam, main exam and interview session or personality test.

Age Criteria a:
  • For General Category candidates, the new age limit is 32 years.
  • For OBC Category candidates, the new age limit is 35 years.
  • For SC/SC Category candidates, the new age limit is 37 years.
  • For Physically Handicapped candidates, age limit is 42, 45 and 47 years for General, OBC and SC/ST category respectively.
